A Tulsa company is at the forefront of a new way to keep schools clean

TULSA, Okla. — Service Wing Organic Solutions is manufacturing special machines that allow you to make your own cleaning solution.

The machine makes a liquid called hypochlorous acid (HOCL) that is made from salt water which is then electrified.

It’s a naturally made chemical that fights off disease. It is totally organic and the people who manufacture the machines say is 100 times more effective than bleach.

They say it’s safe to use around people and animals and been EPA approved and is safe to use in hospitals, homes, and schools.

“Our bodies naturally produce HOCL,’” Kelly Mull, a partner at Service Wing Organic Solutions said. “It helps us fight off infections and pathogens that our bodies encounter. This technology is simply mimicking what our body is already producing, making it more effective and safer than common disinfectants, like bleach.”

They told FOX23 that the Tulsa Fire Department uses one of these machines and Pryor Public Schools has recently bought the new technology too.

With the machine you can make the cleaning solution for 4 cents a gallon.

At the height of the pandemic in 2020 I’m told the same solution was being sold for up to $80 online.

The multipurpose cleaning solution is put into a bottle or humidifier and sprayed. It means there’s no need for any other disinfecting products. It controls the contamination of viral bacterial mold and fungus transmission including flu, strep ad COVID-19.
